The death of Mahsa Amini in the hands of the police spiked a revolution in Iran to fight for human rights and to topple the Ayatollah regime. As happened in 1979, events on foreign lands play a major role in the movement. <\/p>\n\n

Daniel Gandra<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Daniel Gandra (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1981). After working for more than a decade in a multinational company as a lawyer, he discovered the passion for cinema while pursuing a doctorate in Portugal. He received a scholarship for a master\u2019s degree in movie directing in Barcelona. While studying, he came into contact with Iranians living in Barcelona and decided to tell their story. \u201cRevolution Abroad\u201d is his first film as a director. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diana Gandra<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Diana Gandra (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1984). With a Master II in theories and practices of language and the arts at the School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences (EHESS \u2013 Paris), Diana has worked as a director, editor-in-chief and photographer for several production companies, communication agencies, television channels and festivals in both Brazil and France. An experienced documentary filmmaker, she has covered the Soccer World Cup and the Olympic Games. Currently, Diana works for production companies in the Paris region as a freelancer. \u201cRevolution Abroad\u201d is her second film as a director, after \u201cWayuri\u201d (2022).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
