In recent years, she has worked in Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America, documenting a range of topics, such as the civil war in Yemen, the conflict and coltan mines in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, Boko Haram in northeastern Nigeria, the war in Kurdistan, Syrian refugees in neighboring countries, and femicides in Ciudad Ju\u00e1rez.
