Fatimetu Bucharaya is a Sahrawi woman who in 2019 founded SMAWT, a voluntary women’s association dedicated to the detection of anti-personnel mines in the Sahrawi refugee camps in Tindouf (Algeria).

Raquel Larrosa
Graduated in Audiovisual Communication, specialized in Documentary Film. She has worked in press, film festivals, and production companies as a journalist, content creator, and audiovisual director. Journalism brought her closer to reality, and video taught her how to tell stories. Her documentary short film «Skeikima» (2017) has been screened at over 60 festivals in 22 countries and has received 12 awards, including the Second Prize «Crear 2019» from the Aragonese Youth Institute. She views the camera as a tool for socio-political intervention and firmly believes in the power of cinema as a weapon of denunciation in the fight for Human Rights. Since 2020, she has been working as a content creator at SocialCo, a digital communication agency specializing in NGOs in Madrid.
