The National Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw is a space where the heritage of world culture meets individual sensitivity, inspiring a deeper appreciation of the beauty inherent in diversity. Within its modernly designed interiors, the museum hosts permanent and temporary exhibitions of an interdisciplinary nature and varied themes. It also features a library and a cinema room for film screenings. The museum is a venue for fairs, special events, author meetings, workshops, and seminars.

The Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Warsaw is one of the leading anthropological centres in Poland. Its research operates at the intersection of the humanities and social sciences. The main areas of interest for the institute’s researchers include studies on tradition, religion, childhood, globalization, mobility, gender, and sexuality. During their studies in ethnology, students can deepen their knowledge in areas such as regional, visual, medical, political, and economic anthropology.
The Student Scientific Circle of the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Warsaw, known as “Etno,” is a continuation of the Scientific Circle of the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, one of the oldest and most active scientific circles at the University of Warsaw, established in the 1970s. The members of the Circle are students of ethnology, as well as individuals from other fields interested in anthropological issues.
